One of the reasons I have enjoyed compiling my family tree is that, by doing so, it may give my children a better sense of who they are. I hope they appreciate the many triumphs, struggles and challenges that their ancestors met and surmounted, in order to give future generations a better way of life.
I therefore, leave my family research data to my two children, Erin Jennifer Lester-Maggard and Brian Anthony Lester; to be preserved, added to and/or disseminated as they see fit. If nothing else, should they choose to have families of their own, perhaps one of their childrens’ teachers will assign a “Family Tree Project” and my grandchild will be assured of an A+!
