This website is dedicated to the memory of my ancestors, especially my parents, William Anthony (Pete) SCHWARTZ and Dorothy Mae (Dot) RILEY. Had I taken the time to record the wealth of knowledge that my mother possessed on our family before her death, the branches on my tree would extend much farther back today. My father always said we had some French ancestry somewhere on our tree. He was truly amazed, however, that I was able to substantiate this when I discovered an inscription on his great grandmother’s headstone in a local cemetery!
